Casper Wrestling Club’s season began on 1/9/22 in Buffalo, Wyoming. Through the first three weeks of the club’s season CWC is off to a hot start! The kids have wrestled extremely tough. So tough in fact that the club has finished in the top 4 all three tournaments, 3rd at Buffalo, 3rd at Eastside, & 4th at Moorcroft.
Under the guidance of head coach, Chad Barker, CWC has hit the ground running to start the 2022 season. The club has a fundraising corn hole tournament on 1/30/22 but will then be right back on the road with tournaments at Worland, Douglas & Sheridan. These three tournaments precede CWC’s very own tournament on 2/27/22 at the Ford Wyoming Center.
The 2022 team has a similar feel to years past thanks to a cohesive group of coaches. There are new aspects to this season as well, a brand new facility with a flexible practice schedule has been a huge boost to the team early this season.
The next big push for the team will be our fundraising. The corn hole tournament & raffle baskets will set the club up for a strong finish to the season. The future is very bright for Casper Wrestling Club & the first three tournaments have made that clear!
